Transitional seasons can be confusing. It’s hot one minute then cold the next, which makes dressing difficult.

During these seasons layering is the key- think thin tops worn underneath lightweight jackets, vests worn over long sleeves, and scarves to keep the chill at bay.

Transitional weather is also an opportunity to showcase knits on their own as opposed to in Winter when they are hidden underneath an overcoat.

Here I’m wearing a wool Viktoria and Woods maxi skirt paired with a slouchy cotton knit from Zara. Wearing double knits  is super cozy but due to the structure in the skirt does not look or feel sloppy.

Lace is something I’ve always loved- on other people. I’ve never been a “girly” dresser and lace is the epitome of pretty.  However I’ve found that paring lace  back with more minimal, urban items creates a look which I’m comfortable wearing. It’s pretty, interesting but not overdone.
